Allison S. Hyatt, Of Counsel, is a seasoned appellate lawyer and litigator. Ms. Hyatt provides Early Sullivan and its clients with specialized experience in a number of diverse practice areas ranging from business, entertainment, and real estate related litigation to insurance coverage matters and civil rights actions.
Ms. Hyatt began her career as a litigator with the law firm of Glaser, Weil, Fink, Howard, Avchen and Shapiro LLP where she practiced for more than 10 years. She has successfully handled countless cases at the trial court and appellate level for a wide range of clients including large and small corporations, production companies, artists, real estate developers and municipal entities. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Hyatt is an experienced coverage attorney and is often called upon to advise in cases involving complicated high-stakes insurance coverage issues. Ms. Hyatt’s passion for developing creative legal strategies along with her exceptional analysis and research expertise has gained her recognition as “go-to” counsel for complex matters.
Ms. Hyatt received her Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law in 2001. She graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Long Beach in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
Ms. Hyatt lives in the Sacramento area with her husband and three children and is active in her community. As a parent of a child with special needs, she has developed her own practice representing parents and students in disability rights cases and special education proceedings. Ms. Hyatt also sits on the board of The Grace Network, a charity providing aid to victims of human trafficking, and further serves as General Counsel for the Center for Educational Rights, a nonprofit advocacy resource for students with disabilities.
