The list recognizes a select number of leading professional firms across the globe in their individual areas of specialization and within their geographical location.

Devin McRae Speaks to Bloomberg on Johnny Depp Suit

Devin McRae was recently quoted in Edvard Pettersson’s Bloomberg article “Johnny Depp, Ex-Business Manager Trade Blame for Lost Riches.” In the article, Devin discusses the mismanagement lawsuit between actor Johnny Depp and his former business manager, and opines that the company should have let Depp go as a client if they weren’t able to curb his spending habits.

“If your client isn’t doing what you’re telling him, maybe it’s time to fire your client,” said Devin.

Devin also spoke on Bloomberg Radio’s “Bloomberg Law” segment, where he discussed Johnny Depp’s lost riches and why he is blaming his former business manager for the loss of his wealth.

Billy Wright Earns Successful Final Judgment on Behalf of First American Title Insurance Company

In Jaisinghani v. U.S. Bank, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. SC125165, Judge Lisa Hart Cole, Billy Wright successfully represented First American Title Insurance Company in connection with the defense of an action brought by a borrower/developer who asserted numerous tort and contract-based claims relating to a multi-million dollar property in Malibu. The Court awarded First American with a favorable judgment after four rounds of demurrers brought by the Firm.

Bryan Sullivan Speaks to The Wrap

Bryan Sullivan was recently quoted in Matt Donnelly’s The Wrap article “‘Han Solo’ Legal Fallout: Will Fired Directors Lord and Miller Keep Their Credit or Residuals?” According to Bryan, the sudden firing of directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller from the anticipated “Star Wars” spin off about Han Solo will have significant legal and financial ramifications.

“The studio is obligated to give them credits,” said Bryan. “But it’s a question about how much work has been done.”

Bryan Sullivan Comments on Roger Ailes’ Death, Pending Litigation Against Fox News

Bryan Sullivan was recently quoted in The Hollywood Reporter and Variety on how the unexpected death of former Fox News CEO could impact the pending harassment lawsuits filed against him and the conservative news network. According to Bryan, not having Ailes to testify on the company’s behalf will likely complicate the lawsuits alleging civil rights violations, as well as the federal investigation into Fox News.

“Odds are everybody who is going to be questioned is now going to say ‘Roger Ailes made the final decision,’” Bryan told Variety. “And he’s not going to be able to say ‘I relied on the general counsel’ or ‘I relied on the CFO.’”

Early Sullivan Obtains Dismissal of Action on Behalf of Fidelity National Title Insurance Company

In Pennymac Holdings, LLC v. Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, et al., Case No. A-16-746790-C, Nevada, the Firm represented Fidelity National Title Insurance Company against a lender claiming to have a priority lien. The case arose from Nevada’s controversial homeowners’ association lien priority laws. The Firm’s motion to dismiss caused the action to be dismissed in its entirety.

The firm was recently recognized as a top litigation boutique in Los Angeles by JD Journal. The firm is one of 14 recognized by the Journal as the “best of the best” in LA.
